Cheltenham Web Design

Hiring the right web designer for your project can be a daunting task, especially with so much competition around. Who to choose and what to pay? To help shrink the field there a couple of important questions you should be asking. It is important that web designers (and developers) have had the correct training so don’t be afraid to ask where they studied their trade. And then do some research! With this in mind it is also important to look at their experience in the industry. I don’t mean how old they are, I mean what they have done in the past and what kind of a team do they work within. You need to think about whether you want someone young and creative working on your project or someone who might take a more professional route. Web design is all about personal preference so think about your project and the type of personality and character that will do the best job in bringing it to life. Every web design company will have a portfolio
and that is always a good place to start looking.

Don’t just go for one designer; try to get some quotes and proposals from a few. The more you talk about your project and go through the specifications with various web developers the more ideas you will get. This is the time when these companies are doing all that they can to win over your business and they will be throwing all sorts of different and creative ideas at you. Take advantage of this!

Once the decision has been made and you get into the contract stages just remember that until you have signed that dotted line and made the first deposit (never pay for the whole job up front) it is never too late to change your mind. The contract should be read carefully and you should pay very careful attention to your specification requirements as developers will use this as a bible to refer back to and possibly charge you for anything outside the spec, no matter how big or small!

Our Cheltenham web design team not only has great and varying experience but we also have a very fair contract and ethic to our work. We have a 60-day period where any small bugs are fixed for free. We have a service level agreement that can be incorporated into SEO packages to make sure any urgent changes can be turned around straight away.
